The Creator - Spacesuit

Working at Wētā Workshop I had the opportunity to work on Gareth Edwards film The Creator. Under Costume Designer Jeremy Hanna we explored designs for Joshua's spacesuit. The forms and colours were inspired by Gareth's vision of a retro future - looking at science fiction and anime of the 70's and 80's - as well as the spacesuits worn by the apollo 11 crew in 1969.
The final design for the spacesuit was done by the talented Tahiwi Trenor-Hunt.
