Alien Romulus - Cryoframe

Through Weta Workshop I had the opportunity to work with director Fede Álvarez on Alien: Romulus. We worked across a number of prop and weapon briefs that would be practically built for the film.

The Cryoframe was a device designed to keep facehuggers in stasis for research.  The function and Clamshell design had been established by designers in the art department, my job was to provide a few design passes finalizing the visual language.
This was the final design passed to manufacture, after a few rounds of refinement.
