Set in 2145 Fata Morgana takes place after devastating nuclear fallout. With humanity's network of infrastructure and technology lost, abandoned, or destroyed, society eventually became tribal once again. Forgotten to but a few, scientific knowledge is now both feared and revered as a magical force. It's against this backdrop that history begins to repeat itself.
I liked the idea that armoured suits were the shiny steel armor of the future. Like knights of old, warriors would dress in a gambeson or chain mail, but over that, the powered suit provides the plate armor.
